Converting a Content Request into a Content Item

Modified on Tue, 18 Jun at 6:30 PM

Once you've decided to approve and move forward with a request, the process of transforming the request into a content item/project is super simple.

content request detail view - convert request

Here's the step-by-step:

  1. Click the Convert Request button (shown above, but also located at the bottom of the preview slide-in)
  2. This will trigger the Convert Request form/modal (shown below), which you'll notice looks an awful lot like the Add New Content Item form (on purpose). Note that we automatically insert the request title into the content item title field.
  3. Complete the form as you normally would (select calendar, content type, owner, etc.)
  4. Click Save!

What happens to the content request data?

As part of the "conversion" process, Divvy takes the original request data and converts it into a "Brief", which will now live within the new content item you just created.
