AI Search in Lytho's Digital Asset Manager takes searching to a new level, allowing users to quickly locate assets with enhanced accuracy and ease. By leveraging artificial intelligence, AI Search interprets the context and details within assets, helping users find exactly what they’re looking for without relying solely on tags or manual filtering. Whether you're searching by keywords, concepts, or visual elements, AI Search enables smarter, faster access to your assets.
Lytho DAM AI search is currently in Early Access and may not be available to all accounts.

How AI Search Works
- AI-Powered Image Recognition:The AI model "looks" at each image and identifies key features like objects, people, colors, places, or text. It uses its training data (millions of images it’s learned from) to recognize these elements.
- Results will not include facial recognition features, such as "blue eyes," or brand names.
- Generating Labels (Tags): Based on what it sees, the AI automatically assigns labels to the photo. For example, if it sees a picture of a beach, it might label it with terms like beach, sand, ocean, sunset, or vacation.
- Searching by Labels: Once the photos are labeled, you can search your collection using these tags. So, if you type "sunset" or "beach" into a search box, the AI pulls up all photos labeled with those terms.
Lytho's AI model is pre-trained. We will not use customer data to further train the model.
Updating User Roles
The AI Search feature can be added to a user's Role, allowing them to access the AI Search option in the Asset Manager. Once the feature is enabled, users can seamlessly switch between AI Search and the standard search.
To apply to rule, start in Settings then Roles. Select the Role you would like to edit, open more options menu, and choose Edit. Under the DAM tab, toggle on AI Search.
Using AI Search
Locate assets using Artificial Intelligence (AI) by selecting the magnifying glass icon to turn on AI Search in your search bar and typing a keyword. Lytho's advanced AI search will present on-demand content based on the asset itself, not asset tags or custom fields.
To return to standard search, select the magnifying glass icon in the search bar.
Currently, only English is supported in AI Search.
